I love that I figured out how to post videos. This is my absolute favorite video on You-Tube of English Bulldogs. I love how they fall everytime they try to jump high. The weird thing is they aren't big barkers and they usually aren't this rowdy, but I guess they really love balloons!

The Cutest Commercial Ever...
So, I love this commercial and I'm not just saying that because I work for Kaiser. This boy reminds me of Chunk on the Goonies, especially at the end where he is running during T-ball. I expecially love that he is promoting a healthy lifestyle in the commericial, but on the Ellen show is all about the junk food. What an adorable little boy!!!

ROCCO, Our Little Bully
We finally decided on the name Rocco for our new bulldog puppy. Eric and I couldn't agree on anything. So, we finally eached picked our favorites, and Rocco was on both of our lists. It wasn't either one of our #1 choices but hey, marriage is about compromise, right? We got updated photos of him yesterday. These are only a week and a half from the last ones and he is already getting so much bigger. The breeder told us he is the biggest one, and as a result, everyone wants to hold him. Whenever they walk over to the pen, he is the first one to come over. We might have a spoiled little boy on our hands! We can't wait to get him in three weeks!

My Cute New Dentist
Well, after telling Eric I wouldn't let him touch my mouth until he had more experience, I caved in and became his patient. Mostly I felt bad for him, because all his patients kept cancelling on him and I knew I would have cavities to fill. I hate flossing and as a result I ALWAYS have cavities when I go to the dentist. It was partially for me as well. I had not been to the dentist since we moved here and I didn't know where to go. I didn't feel like getting scammed by some sleazy dentist and I didn't want to end up with a crummy one either. It actually has been a pretty good experience and Eric has done a really good job. My only complaints: the amount of time it takes and wearing that gosh darn rubber dam. I hate it so much! The clamp cuts into your gums and my teeth are so tight is almost impossible to get it on. Otherwise I am very please with Dr. Eric Wood. Thanks babe for putting up with my poor oral hygiene!
Our Sad Camera...
Well, after only a year of having our digital camera it is broken. While attempting to take a picture with our tripod on our So Cal vacation, the camera fell about five feet before hitting the pavement. We were then forced to buy a disposable camera on our trip. We have been debating about whether to get a new camera right away, but after getting the prints from the disposable camera I have decided we can wait no longer. I can't believe how poorly the pictures turned out. I never really thought the high MP's really made that big of a difference, but now I think otherwise. You can tell when our camera broke by our pictures. The ones at the animal kingdom were with our digital camera and after that the crummy pic's begin!
Southern California Trip
Eric had a week off from school at the end of September. I was able to get some time off of work so we decided to take a little trip down to So Cal. Our first stop was San Diego. I got this awesome deal on a hotel in Coronado that was amazing. I have been to San Diego a couple of times before and didn't really understand the hype about it. But I do now! The weather was perfect; the city was so clean and nice; and things seemed surprisingly cheap to me. I think I am getting too used to San Francisco.
We first went the Wild Animal Kingdom. We had heard it was pretty cool from a couple of people and decided to check it out. It was actually really neat. I really liked the tram that took us around to see the endangered animals living in their real habitat. Well, sort of their real habitat.
The next day we attempted to get up early and we went for a bike ride around Coronado. I wanted to rent one of those cute beach bikes, but I got stuck with the ugly mountain bike.
That afternoon we headed to Mexico. I used to go there all the time when I was young, because my grandparents had a house there. But Eric had never been and he really wanted to go. We parked in the U.S. and walked over. And it was an interesting experience, but overall very depressing. All those poor people living in that dirty city begging for money isn't all that fun. We didn't really buy anything except food. We got tacos, tortillas and churros!
We attempted again to get up early the next morning; we went on a long walk on the beach across from our hotel. It was called Silver Strand Beach and we read it was a really good place to find sand dollars. So we thought we would check it out and maybe find a sand dollar or two. Well, we ended up with like fifty whole sand dollars. It was crazy!
We then decided to go check out the U.S. Midway. Up until the Gulf War it was used as an aircraft carrier. It was very interesting. They had alot of planes still on the ship. It kind of put alcatraz to shame. Sorry San Francisco!
We then headed to Anaheim. On the way we stopped in La Jolla. I had heard it was a pretty place to visit. It actually had some really cool lookouts to the ocean. There was one beach where the seals had taken over. There was this jetty you could walk out on and the ocean kind of sprayed up on you. It was very beautiful.
In Anaheim, we, of course, went to Disneyland. I wanted to go one last time before we have kids. September is the perfect time, because there is barely any lines for the rides. It was also decorated for Halloween/Christmas.
Overall, Disneyland wasn't quite as fun as it was a few years ago. It will be fun to go again someday with my own children. But, I did love the new ride at Disney California - The Tower of Terror!

OUR NEW PUPPY
As many of you know Eric and I have been talking about getting a bulldog for quite awhile now. Back in January I started looking into breeders. In February, I put a deposit down with a breeder, but I was 9th in line for a pup. When they were born in April, there were only 4 males. Since we really wanted a boy we knew our chances were slim in getting one. When it finally was our turn to choose there was only one boy left and he wasn't anywhere near the color we wanted. So... we decided to wait. Well, we waited and waited and finally the breeder had some more of her females come into heat. They had a litter born on September 16th and September 23rd. This time around we got to pick first. And lucky for us there were six boys to pick from this time!!! But... this was quite a stressful choice, because there were three really cute ones. Based on personality and blood line we finally made a decision. Hopefully, we made the right one. The winner is...
He is only four weeks old, so as he gets bigger he will get fatter, more wrinkly and overall, more scrumptous and adorable!!! Here is another photo of him with his siblings when was first born. He is the one closest to the top of the picture.
We will be getting him in four weeks... as soon as he is allowed to be shipped on a plane to us. We are supposed to pick out a name and tell the breeder so she can start calling him by it. We are struggling to pick one out and I thought everyone could help. Leave a comment telling me what name you like best. These are some ideas we have: Rocco, Diesel, Lombard, Webster, Chunk, and Bubba. I like the more cute, fat names where as Eric likes the tougher names. If it was up to him he would probably name him Spike or something ridiculous like that. We have also been contemplating picking out a San Francisco name for him. We are very excited to be having a new addition to our family. We really want him to be a social dog. So we invite everyone, especially children to come visit!
