I forgot to post this video with my last post. Here is a video of Logan playing at Newport Beach. He had such a blast!

SO CAL, PART 1
We arrived in Orange County a day earlier than the rest of my family. We were able to go to dinner with some friends from dental school and it was so good to catch up with them!

The next day we took Logan to the beach. The weather was beautiful and there was hardly anyone there. Logan was a little unsure at first, but after about 20 minutes he was in love. He ran around on the beach for over 2 hours. He was in heaven!

I could hardly get him to stay still to take a picture with me...
It only confirmed our dream to live in San Diego one day - maybe Comfort Dental will open an office there? One can dream, right?

SO CAL, PART 2 - DISNEYLAND

First up at Disneyland, was visiting Mickey, of course! Logan was pretty unsure of him at first and didn't really want to take a picture with him...
We, of course, had to get pictures with Minney too! Logan was just as unsure about her...
We visited the Bug Life section at California Adventure. Logan liked the bug train ride...

MAGICAL MOMENT #2 - Riding the Choo, Choo Train around Disneyland, obviously! Logan was thrilled to death to ride the train! Here he is sporting Auntie's sunglasses on the ride...

Logan wasn't really sure of the Jungle Cruise, though! I try to imagine being a 2 year-old and I am probably guessing he thinks the animals are real - and in that case I would be really scared too!

MAGICAL MOMENT #3 - We got Logan a Mickey balloon that lit up. He LOVED it!...

We took Logan to Tarzan's treehouse - he wasn't so sure about it, but he did love banging the pots/pans at the end and making loud noises...

MAGICAL MOMENT #4 - Since my son is extra tall for his age, he was able to ride a lot of things I didn't think he would be able to. One of those being, the Matterhorn. I had my reservations about taking him on it, but Eric thought he would do fine. We went on the slower track and Eric covered his eyes when the scary animals popped up and guess what? He did fine, he actually did better than fine - he loved it!...
MAGICAL MOMENT #5 - The teacups, of course! I was so excited to take Logan on this ride, but unfortunately he didn't want to sit with his Mommy, as you can see...
MAGICAL MOMENT #6 - I don't have any pictures of our ride on "It's a small world after all," but it was by far Logan's favorite ride. He just sat mesmerized looking around at everything during the ride. Once we were done, he kept saying boa, boa, boa (attempting to say boat).
On our last night, we went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack (I ate a salad - no seafood for me!). Eric and Chad shared a feast...
Final Magical Moment, #7 - Sharing the trip with so many loved one: Grammy, Auntie, Uncle Chad and Aunt Ashlie and especially this little girl...
But 3 days, with short naps, late bedtimes and early waketimes can be very wearing on 2 year-olds. They had finally had it in the end...
We had such a wonderful time at "the happiest place on earth" and can't wait until next time when we can make more magical memories!!!
