Girls Trip, 2012

This year we kept it simple and went to Breckenridge. There were 4 babies in tow, so we didn't want anything too crazy! We ate a lot, talked a lot, and did a little shopping. Can't wait for next year!!!

Sacramento

Back in May, I went to Sacramento for 2 weeks to visit my family. We ate lots of yummy food; we did a lot of shopping; and we played with the kids doing all sorts of fun things!

Auntie got Logan a dinosaur mask. He had a lot of fun crawling around acting and roaring like a dinosaur...
We celebrated Auntie's 33rd birthday...
We took Logan to the splash pad - yep, pretty sure he enjoyed himself...
And on the train ride...
Logan slept right next to my bed on an air mattress; in the morning he would sneak into bed with me for a few extra zzz's...
I took Logan out to breakfast one morning. He got a hot chocolate and they put dinosaur sprinkles on top; he was pretty excited about it...
The kids and I got our pictures taken outside; we had to trek to the spot - yep, we got a little dirty...
We went and got slurpees on free slurpy day...
I met up with my friend Rocia; the two boys had a grand old time together!
Logan discovered the sunroof in my parents car...
My sister and I (plus my sidekick, Stella) went to the City one day. We just had to make our usual dinner stop at Nick's Crispy Tacos...
The next day we headed to Santa Cruz. Logan had a lot of fun at the Boardwalk...

Logan discovered the earphones in my parents car...
On Memorial Day we took L to Fairytale Town. He had a blast!

Thanks to my family for another fun-filled visit! Can't wait until next time!!!

Stella, 5 Months

The months just keep flying by! Stella is now 5 months old. She is wonderful, what else can I say? She is such a happy, chill baby. She will give you a smile anytime you want. She is as easy as pie! What else could we ask for?

Stella is talking up a storm; she is blowing bubbles and vibrating her lower lip; she can ALMOST put her pacifer in her mouth; she is standing on her legs and TRYING to sit up like a big girl; she FINALLY rolled over from front to back; she squeals like crazy at her brother; she yells at anyone/anything if they do something to upset her; she has started to recognize and grab for her bottles; she loves sitting in her bumbo; she is starting to grab for and suck on toys; she loves to chill in her boppy and watch cartoons; she is starting to like her jumperoo;she still loves to be outside and be in the water; she still loves to people watch and overall she is just at such a great, fun age!

She is still sleeping 12-13 hours STRAIGHT at night - no more waking up during the night for her pacifier; that disappeared when I started feeding her baby food (I guess she was sort of hungry at night, but her mean Mommy wouldn't feed her). Speaking of baby food, I started introducing it to her around 4 months, thinking she wouldn't do much until 6 months of age. Well, boy was I wrong...at 5 Months, she started basically demanding it breakfast, lunch and dinner - eating about 2.5 containers of baby food a day and she hasn't cut back one bit on her milk intake - she is still nursing like a champ and taking a few bottles of formula a day to top her off! (she will even eat green beans, something L would never do!). We love you Stelly, Belly - we can't believe we ever survived without you!!!

A few instagram photos of Stella at 5 Months (professional 5 month photos to come)...
