Copper Mountain Ski Trip

We have been enjoying our own Mountains this year in Denver! We actually have made it up to the slopes on several occasions. My friends suggested we take a ski trip together; I thought it was a great idea & quickly reserved a cabin slopeside at Copper Mountain. It was a quick trip, but still tons of fun! I think we will need to make it a yearly tradition!

We started out the trip with tubing. The hill was kind of steep & pretty icy, but Logan thought it was great!

The first day of skiing; it was snowing with some crazy wind. It kind of made for a not so good day! But it was nice to walk out our cabin to the ski lifts!

The second day of skiing; beautiful & sunny...my kind of day! Logan graduated to the chair lift in ski school this day!

Grand Targhee Ski Resort, 2013

Every year, we join Eric's family for a ski trip at Grand Targhee Ski Resort. We stay slopeside; you basically walk out the door to the slopes. It's great! I think there were around 50 of us total. We had a blast, as usual. We skied all day & then stayed up late visiting & playing games. Logan took to the slopes this year & did great! I tried skiing for the first time & loved it! Until next year!!!

Sleigh ride to the Yurt - When I asked Logan what was his favorite part of the trip, he quickly replied "the sleigh ride & dinner at the Yurt" (he loved the "hot apple juice," scones and cheesecake)...
