Logan's 4th Birthday

Eric & I stayed up late decorating and putting together a train table for Logan's Birthday...

We started out Logan's Birthday with Pop-Up Pancakes followed by a little train playing. We then headed out for swim lessons. After a little time at the gym, where he was telling everybody it was his Birthday and that he is 4 now - we let him pick lunch...Which Wich. While there, I took him on the train; something he's been begging to do forever...
We then met Logan's bestie at the indoor pool for a little swim time...
Later that night, we took the Birthday boy out for dinner and then headed back to our house for cupcakes & presents...

It was a very fun and busy day, and we loved that we got to spend all of it with our little man. We can't believe he is already FOUR!!!

Our Getaway to San Francisco

Eric & I got to go to San Francisco, while my family watched the kids. I haven't been away from Stella for a single night since she was born - so it was nice to finally have a completely kid free break (although I was a little sad to leave her). We mostly just relaxed, slept, ate and enjoyed our time as just the two of us!

The second night the fog started to roll in; it brought back so many memories!
We drove around the Presidio; it has changed so much! We went by our old apartment - it was kind of weird and looked a lot nicer with the new paint job!
Eric went swimming in the Bay and on a bike ride across the GG Bridge one morning. I, on the other hand, went and got a pedicure, massage and did a little shopping!
Our last morning; We enjoyed a little sunshine at the park...
We waited in a 1.5 hour line at Mama's but it was worth every minute!
 We ate so much food!
I love the City so much. Lucky for me I get to go back again in May!

Sacramento

My Mom and sister were off for Spring Break, so we went and visited them in Sacramento. It was wonderful to spend time with them & to enjoy their nice weather. The kids loved getting spoiled by all of them. We had such a good time!

I'm not going to lie. The plane ride out was rough with just the 2 kids and me; Stella refused to nap so it made for a long 2.5 hour ride. Thankfully Eric was with us on the way back, because she was even worse! These pom poms were a lifesaver though!
The kids were so excited to see their Grammy!
The first day we had to go get donuts (we don't have good ones here in Colorado). Logan got a donut Easter basket but then decided to eat all of my maple bar...

Stella's first experience with donuts. She seriously danced the entire time she ate it!
We went to the Folsom Zoo and then went on the Folsom train...

We went down to the River and fed the geese...
Auntie reading stories to Logan...
We went to Funderland; Logan loved all the small rides!

And Stella loved the bunny and chipmunk; all she wanted to do was touch them!
Logan had to get his face painted!
And Stella did not want to sit in the stroller - she wanted to be walked around like this the whole time...
We went to the City one day; We promised Logan we would stop at Baker Beach - it was freezing but Stella, nor him wanted to leave!

We celebrated Logan's 4th birthday early with Grammy, Papa and Auntie...
We decorated Easter cookies...
Logan has always been a great sleeper amongst all our travels (Stella is a different story!). Grammy got this Car's blow up bed for Logan and he loved it! And his new bulldog stuffy (although, Stella steals it any chance she gets!).
Logan got an Iron Man costume...
Logan got to go to the Aero Museum with Papa...
Logan got lots of new clothes from Auntie and Grammy, including this ensemble...
We took the kids to the river...
And enjoyed some family kayaking...
One last photo - Logan went with Grammy and Papa to their Sunday School class both weeks we were there; This is Logan with all the kids in their class...
It was a great visit - can't wait to go again!!!

Easter Sunday

We were in California with my family to celebrate Easter this year. We gave Easter baskets to the kids, went to church as family, did a few Easter egg hunts and ate a yummy Easter dinner! It was wonderful!

Stella at 15 Months

How is my baby already 15 months? Before I know it, she is going to be going to Nursery (won't be such a bad day, though!).

At 15 months, Stella weighs 27 lbs (95-98%), is 32.5 inches long (90-95%), and her head circumference is 19.25 inches (97%). It is noteworthy to mention here, that not only has she finally caught up to what her brother was at, at this age - she weighs 1 pound more than he did at 15 months. This may have something to do with the fact that she loves to eat and is still not walking. She just wants to stay our chubby, chub!!!

Stella is standing a little bit by herself now, is using her walker to walk around and is cruising up and down the stairs. But is still too content to walk - oh well! My doctor told me I don't need to worry until she is 17 months; so hopefully she is walking by then.

She has been quite sassy lately - I think it has something to do with the fact that she has gotten 9 teeth in the last 3 months and is working on her 10th. All she has left is her canines and 2nd year molars. I am hoping for a break soon!

Stella is jibber jabbering ALL THE TIME. She will have full on conversations to me - I just have no idea what she is saying. She does say Momma, Dada, Doggy (all the time), Hi, No and Uh-Oh. She will point and scream at anything she wants. She will also yell at you if anything is making her upset. I don't even have to intervene when Logan is being a pill to her - she sticks up for herself just fine! She knows how to clap now and DANCE - and boy, does she have the moves! She loves to shake her booty to a tune!

Stella love the water. She loves to be outside. She loves ALL DOGS but especially Rocco. The smiles in the pictures I took below of her were only captured because I asked her where the doggy was.

Although she is quite the sassy pants (my Mom says I am in for it with her when she is older) she is still so easy. She will just sit and play when something; or wander off and find something to play with. She gets into trouble sometimes, but it's never that big of a deal. I am totally fine with messes if it takes me way less time to clean it up, then it took making it and entertaining her!

We just love our Stelly Belly! She is just our sweet & sassy baby girl and we don't know what we would do without her! Plus, who can resist those scrumptious cheeks that I hope never go away! I just can't kiss them enough!

A few photos of her in the past month...

She loves all electronics - Ipads, phones, computers, etc. She now yells for you to put something on for her when she sees a computer (Thanks Auntie!)
Getting into trouble - this time she entertained herself with the toilet paper!
Looking cute, but wouldn't crawl on the grass...
Loved playing with all the big kids at the mall!
Stella was just happy to play with empty Easter eggs, when Easter was all over...
Stella using her walker - she is quite good with it!
Stella playing in an empty pool- she prefers it to sitting in it with water. Funny girl!
