This past week Rocco was really sick; I don't think I have ever cleaned up so much diarrhea and vomit(and that says a lot coming from a nurse!). We think he got giardia in Utah while playing in a creek. He had to go to the vet and get IV fluids. Then he was sent home with pepsid for his belly and medicine to treat the parasites. And he is on strict orders to only eat chicken, rice and cottage cheese for the next week(he thinks this is great!). It is a good thing I love this little boy - it has been a crazy week with working nights and taking care of him during the day; especially since Eric was MIA, being that it was his first week back to school! Thanks so much to my sister, Rashelle, for coming into town to watch him so Eric could go to Tahoe for his swim and I could go to work!

Project Runway Season Five is Here!
Utah
Last week Eric and I went to Utah to visit his family. We had a lot of fun and it was great to see everyone. On the drive out we stopped in Reno and had a barbecue with some of my best friends from high school. It was so great to see you, Kristina and Lindsey!
While in Utah, we got lots of boating in, which was fantastic! We went to a family's cabin for a few days on Scofield Lake and got some great wake boarding in during the morning hours. It has been awhile since I have been able to enjoy wake boarding on "glassy" water. In the afternoons, when it got a bit rougher, we went tubing and learned how to wake surf.
Holding on for dear life - I hate tubing; I don't know why I even do it!
Eric showing off his newly learned skills!
I was really trying to concentrate, can you tell?
We took Rocco out on the boat for the first time. We bought him a life jacket for the occasion and he was so adorable with it on. He wasn't all that excited about it! He didn't get much more excited when we put him in the lake and he couldn't touch!
Rocco looking real tough with his life jacket and his one tooth out!
Rocco held on to Eric for dear life the whole time he was in the lake! Although, he was terrified, it was quite entertaining to watch!
On the fourth we went to a Bee's game. There is nothing better than a hot dog, baseball and some awesome fireworks!

We also went to Timpanogas Caves while we were there. I had never been and we have been talking about going FOREVER! So, we finally decided to do it!
At the beginning of the hike!
Almost to the top!
Inside the caves - they were so cool!
Our trip to Utah was FABULOUS. Thanks to everyone there for making it that way! We love you and can't wait to see you again!

San Diego
A few weekends back (I am a little behind, sorry!) Eric and I, along with Brady and Jocelyn, went to La Jolla for Julian's wedding (we snuck in a few other things, as well!). We had so much fun and it was very beautiful. I LOVE San Diego and wish I could live there forever! We enjoyed a beautiful sunset along the La Jolla Coast.
We swam and played in the ocean at La Jolla Beach; oh yeah, and we got really sun burnt (see pictures at wedding below). Sunday night we attended the wedding - it was beautiful and the food was delicious. We had some major belly aches by the end of the night. But we still managed to shake our stuff to some Persian music!

We also went kayaking and snorkeling along the La Jolla Caves. I loved riding the waves in and out!
We also managed to eat some scrumptious food in Old Town - I love their homemade tortillas there!
We finished the trip off by going to Coronado and walking around the "Del." I especially wish I could afford to live here!
