Copper Mountain

A few weeks back we spent the weekend up at Copper Mountain with the Smith's. It's one of our favorite places to ski at in Colorado. Its close, kid-friendly and you can rent these slope side cabins that are amazing!

Lucy and Logan had so much fun playing together! We took the kids sledding behind our cabin one morning. They took advantage of some huge snow balls some other kids had built!

We took the kids tubing at Copper Moutain (we even snuck Stella on although she is not quite tall enough yet). We also took them to Critterland (they were a bigger fan of this - I guess steep, fast tubing is not their favorite!)...

Everyone skiied the two days we were there. I enjoyed myself at the Spa since my current disposition doesn't warrant snowboarding.

Loved the ski trip! It also snowed the entire time we were there (in the beginning of April) so it worked out nicely for us!

San Diego

We spent a week in Carlsbad/Oceanside for Logan's Spring Break and Eric's 1/2 Iron Man back in March.

As soon as we arrived the kids (ie Logan) were begging to go to the beach. Logan just ran and ran. Stella quickly realized how hard it was to walk/run in the sand and wanted to be carried!

This was Stella's first night sharing a bed with Logan. I was nervous how it would go but she surprised us and slept great!

The first day we checked out the Oceanside Mission...

We spent some time at the beach and the kids were in heaven!

And we went and got fish & chips at the Pier...

We also spent a couple days at Legoland. Stella was just happy to play in the splash pad!

All the mini structures and mini figures (all built out of legos) was my favorite!

Logan got to practice his driving...

He thought he was too cool for a picture at the beginning of this ride, but then quickly got scared when it started!

We went to Old Town San Diego one night. Logan picked out his Spider Man mask and then Stella had to have one too!

We spent one afternoon in Coronado (one of my favorite places!)...

Stella was pretty worn out by the trip and slept anytime she could fit it in!

We ate a lot of Mexican food in San Diego. This particular night Stella went to town on the salsa & chips...

Eric's 1/2 Iron Man in Oceanside (not too shabby of a location)...

This was the finish line; best spot so far of all Eric's races to keep the kids entertained!

The last night Eric spoiled the kids and snuggled them all night long...

Grand Targhee Ski Trip

We went on our annual trip to Wyoming to ski at Grand Targhee. It never disappoints. There is always powder and the snow is always super soft!

We even got Stella on the ski slopes on afternoon. She wasn't very happy getting on her ski clothes, but she loved going down the hill with Daddy!

We took a sleigh ride to the Yurt for dinner one night. This is one of the kids' favorite things to do!

Logan was a champ this year with skiing. He spent all his time on the chair lifts and is going super fast (we are trying to actually get him to slow down and turn more!)
